DESCRIPTION:
In La Boquilla, an authentic fishing village of Cartagena de Indias, enjoy an ethno-touristic canoe ride through the natural mangrove tunnels of the Juan Polo Lagoon, just 15 minutes from downtown. A sustainable ecotourism experience that connects you with the biodiversity of the Colombian Caribbean.

THE EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
Personalized guidance: Native guide with tour in Spanish.
Welcome drink: Fresh coconut or bottled water.
Round-trip transportation: Only applies to northern and tourist area.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES:
Optional guidance: English and French-speaking guide.
Optional lunch: Traditional Boquilla cuisine lunch. Fresh fish, fried plantains, coconut rice, salad, and panela water.

Tour Experience

CANOE RIDE THROUGH THE NATURAL MANGROVE TUNNELS
In this fishing village, you will ride in a handcrafted canoe guided by a native of La Boquilla, directly connecting with the flora and fauna of the mangrove ecosystem.
MANGROVE ECOSYSTEM AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION
A local guide will explain the mangrove ecosystem, home to hundreds of microorganisms, birds, fish, crustaceans, mollusks, and mammals, highlighting the richness and fragility of this habitat.
PANORAMIC VISIT TO THE JUAN POLO LAGOON
Sailing in a canoe with a local fisherman, you will discover the Juan Polo Lagoon, where dry and humid tropical forests converge to form an exceptional landscape.
