DESCRIPTION:
Discover authentic Afro-Caribbean cuisine in La Boquilla: learn ancestral recipes from local native women and savor the true traditional flavors inherited from their grandmothers.
Participants: Minimum 2 PAX
THE EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
Personalized guidance: Native guide with tour in Spanish.
Round-trip transportation: Only applies to northern and tourist area.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES:
Optional guidance: English and French-speaking guide.
SCHEDULES:
Morning: 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Afternoon: 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM
Availability: Subject to availability (Including transfers)

CANOE RIDE THROUGH THE MANGROVES
Navigate through green tunnels with a native guide from La Boquilla and discover its biodiversity.
AFRO-CARIBBEAN COOKING WORKSHOP
In a fisherman’s home, learn to prepare coconut rice, “sancocho,” or “escabeche” alongside traditional cooks.
KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE
Share stories and culinary techniques with the “sabedoras” (traditional knowledge keepers) of the community.
TYPICAL LUNCH OR DINNER
Taste the menu you cooked: fresh fish, fried plantains, coconut rice, salad, and soup at an authentic Boquillera table.
